One more interesting bug magnet story. This time I have trouble with Microsoft Excel on Windows 10 OS, let’s say the latest Desktop version.
Well, the screenshot above clearly explains what the problem is. But we still need some context. I tried to open two Excel files at the same time with the same name and different paths.
Variables
How many variables do we have here?
- Time
- File Name
- File Path
Comparable Product
Lets’s use good old Open Office for Mac as the comparable product. I use Desktop and Download folders:
Open Office does not have that issue.
Conclusion
Microsoft Excel, we have a problem here!
